My Artist Statement

1. When my teacher Mr.Martin Told me to choose a elective since i hardly any last year i chose photography remembering that I'm bad at taking photos and wanted to improve my skills.
2. Something i learned through the course of time we had was that not every photo could captivate me but to others they may see qualities in my photos, also that editing the brightness can make a huge difference when Oregon decides to have a gloomy effect in the air.
3. I learned about myself was that I am capable of taking decent photos even if no one enjoys them because I worked hard making them editing it to my choice of PERFECTION. I'm glad i had this learning experience with myself. :]
4. My challenge this year was finding people to take pictures with it was hard since most had a partner so I told my teacher to take me out of the class cause I thought I wouldn't pass. Two wonderful people asked me to be part of there photo which was quite nice. Also home nobody really enjoyed the idea of posing in a photo even if it meant my grade would be bad. There was two assignments I didn't turn in due to the fact no one would be my assistant, but once I told them I was failing bad they let me take a couple of photos for only one assignment, most of my family didn't want there face being shown.
5. The best project was all to me at least maybe cause i was both excited to learn a new technique but worried if it included people.
6. Light Writing because of reasons that I take responsibility for not have a bright light

7. I'm not quite sure I made these images up even though I did look through portrait photos online and realized they wanted to show us something that we might not understand but should except and enjoy so that's what I did even if you see one thing as long as I was happy to put my work.
8. Most of the photos represent how I feel inside in a sense or the way I cant express how I feel to other or to myself. It was exciting to have my ideas draw even though I only posted some of the many I took kinda in a fear of judgement or looked on differently.
9. As long as they have a view on my photo or enjoy it that's really all I want for them to get at. I though again believe the ones I posted meant myself either my past or present, even though I didn't post the other three I do believe the images are fine without them.

10. I would tell them how Funny Mr.Hohman can be and the amount of patience you have to teaching us even if you have to repeat it many times, so thank you. Also as long as you have what it takes to commit to taking and turning in photos do it.
